Winter of the Circus
In the autumn of 2020, the world of live performance has fallen asleep. The Romanes Circus, "the last gypsy circus", has never begun the performances of its latest show, "The nomads are coming!", "a poetic journey out of time". The days follow each other and are similar, emptied of a part of its occupants, the majority of its inhabitants move around on all fours. With the successive announcements of a reopening horizon, the rehearsals become rarer but continue in spite of everything in an unusual silence.
Six months later, with the approach of fine weather and a possible end to the crisis, hope returns that the music, songs and gypsy dances will once again resound in the little big top in western Paris.
