Mobilisation du 24 octobre à Perpignan
Après plusieurs semaines de mobilisations citoyennes initiées par les lycéens, une nouvelle journée de mobilisation est annoncée en France ce samedi 24 octobre, dans un contexte de tensions autour des revendications sociales et politiques. À Perpignan, comme dans d’autres endroits en France, la préfecture a notamment instauré un couvre-feu, interdit les manifestations dans l’hypercentre et autorisé la police nationale à utiliser des lanceurs de balles de défense (LBD).

After several weeks of citizen protests initiated by high school students, another day of protests has been announced in France for this Saturday, October 24, amid tensions surrounding social and political demands. In Perpignan, as in other parts of France, the prefecture has imposed a curfew, banned demonstrations in the city center, and authorized the national police to use rubber bullet launchers (LBDs).
