VISMAVILLE in CONFINEMENT // AT THE BALCON, RUE DE L'ABBE DERRY // Episode 3
Day three, it's still cold. This time I had a mission, to find out if the gentleman speaking in LSF was really called M LGEMBER!
But was he going to be there?
The street is quiet. It's 11 in the morning. I'm at the meeting, but I'm alone. The bells of the local church ring out at the end of the service.
No one... well, no one... There's a lady, looking sad. We talk a little and she refuses to take the picture. Then another lady on the ground floor opens her window. I saw yesterday that she was watching me behind the window, looking worried... I say hello to her, reassures her. From there, the conversation begins. She explains to me that every day she disinfects her house. She doesn't go out, she is teleworking, but she needs to disinfect her apartment. She offers me to take a picture of her with her household products. She asks me if she should smile: "Maybe it's not the time to smile, no?" ... "Of course it is! And even twice as much!"
Life being well done, arrives on the sidewalk mister "maybe LGEMBER". I had prepared some sheets and a marker to talk to her.
And yes, he "s well named, and from there signs his first name to me.
These two pretty encounters lead to a third ... A gentleman playing sports on his balcony...
Anyway, I'll see you tomorrow for episode 4...
