L'été 2018, j'ai accompagné en tant qu'animateur un séjour adapté pour personnes en situation de handicap mental. Au travers de ce voyage de deux semaines dans la Loire se sont dévoilées des âmes sensibles en quête de liberté ; une respiration dans le quotidien souvent morne des foyers où leur vie est rythmée par les prises de traitements. Un voyage pour découvrir et appréhender les émotions de chacun et ainsi tenter de répondre aux questions qu'ils se posent.
Voir plus loin fait référence aux regards tantôt maladroits, moqueurs voire agressifs auxquels doivent faire face les handicapés. J'ai fais le choix de ne pas montrer ces regards dans le but de se focaliser sur les yeux des personnes en situation de handicap.
Les paysages intercalés symbolisent les endroits où nous avons passé le plus de temps durant notre périple. Ainsi que les petites choses du quotidien qui on permit à bon nombre de vacanciers de s'évader.

In the summer of 2018, I accompanied as a facilitator a stay adapted for people with mental disabilities. Through this two-week journey in the Loire, sensitive souls in search of freedom were revealed; a breath in the often dull daily life of homes where their lives are punctuated by the taking of treatments. A journey to discover and understand the emotions of each person and thus try to answer the questions they ask themselves.
See below refers to the sometimes clumsy, mocking and even aggressive looks faced by people with disabilities. I chose not to show these looks in order to focus on the eyes of people with disabilities.
The interspersed landscapes symbolize the places where we spent the most time during our journey. As well as the little everyday things that allowed many holidaymakers to escape.
